Q : What version is SM SMP?
A : SM SMP currently supports Minecraft 1.21.11+.
Q : What is the server IP?
A : play.smsmp.net
Q : Is SM SMP cracked?
A : No. SM SMP does not support cracked players. You need a legitimate/premium Minecraft account to play.
Q : Can I play on Bedrock?
A : Unfortunately, Bedrock is not yet supported. You currently need to play using Minecraft Java Edition.
Q : Where can I find information about the server's features?
A : Check the Server Info tab. You can find information about Ranks, Kits, Crates, Dashes, and other server features there.
Q : Where can I find information about the server's plugins?
A : Check the SMSuite™ tab for information about our custom plugins, commands, mechanics, and other server systems.
Progression & Ranks
Q : How do I progress on SM SMP?
A : Progress is earned through actually playing the server. SM SMP is built around the idea of "Progress Is Earned, Not Bought."
Q : Can I earn ranks without paying?
A : Yes. You can earn ranks through gameplay by maintaining your SM Streak. Use /smstreak in-game to view your current streak and progression toward available rank rewards.
Q : What is SM Streak?
A : SM Streak is a progression system that rewards players for continuing to play the server. Use /smstreak to check your current progress and available rewards.
Q : Where can I see rank perks?
A : Visit Store to view the available ranks and their perks.
Dashes
Q : What are Dashes?
A : Dashes are an in-game currency used throughout SM SMP.
Q : How do I earn Dashes?
A : You currently earn 10 Dashes per valid kill. You can also earn 1 Dash every 30 seconds while inside /afk.
Q : What can I spend Dashes on?
A : Dashes can be spent through the Dash Shop and Cave Explorer. Use /dashshop for the Dash Shop and /caveexplorer for Cave Explorer.

Q : Where can I find more information about Dashes?
A : Check Server Info for information about the available Dash-related features and rewards.
Pvp & Combat
Q : What is the combat timer?
A : The combat timer is 15 seconds. Once you are tagged in combat, you must wait for the full timer to expire before you are considered out of combat.
Q : What happens if I combat log?
A : If you disconnect while in combat, you will die and lose your items. Do not disconnect to avoid a fight.
Q : Where can i find players to fight?
A : /pit allows you to enter SM SMP's dedicated PvP pits.
Q : How many PvP pits are there?
A : There are currently two PvP pits:
- Pit I — No Elytra: PvP without Elytras.
- Pit II — Elytra: PvP with Elytras.
Q : Can I use an Elytra in Pit I?
A : No. Pit I is specifically designed for non-Elytra PvP.
Q : Can I use an Elytra in Pit II?
A : Yes. Pit II is designed for Elytra PvP.
Q : What happens if I rocket-mace someone?
A : Rocket-mace kills are handled differently by the server. If you kill someone using a rocket mace:
- You receive no kill credit.
- You receive no Dashes or kill-related rewards.
- The player who died receives no death.
- The player who died does not lose their items.
The interaction is not treated as a normal player kill.
Afk & Alt Accounts
Q : Are alt accounts allowed?
A : Yes. Alt accounts are allowed for legitimate AFK purposes.
Q : What can I use an alt for?
A : Alts are allowed for AFK Keys, AFK Spawners, AFK Worlds, and other legitimate AFK purposes.
Q : Can I use an alt to farm kills?
A : No. Using alternate accounts to farm kills or Dashes is prohibited and can result in a ban.
Q : Can I use an alt to farm kill-related rewards?
A : No. Artificially generating kills, Dashes, or other kill-based rewards through alternate accounts is prohibited.
Trading & Scamming
Q : Can I trade with other players?
A : Yes. Player-to-player trading is allowed.
Q : Are scams allowed?
A : Yes. Scamming is allowed through normal in-game/player interactions.
Q : Does scamming include paid ranks or purchases?
A : No. Scamming involving paid ranks, purchases, or other paid products is strictly prohibited and is bannable.
Q : I got scammed. Can staff refund me?
A : No. Staff will not refund items, money, or other losses resulting from a legitimate player scam.
Raiding & Bases
Q : Can I raid other players?
A : Yes. Raiding is part of SM SMP's intended gameplay.
Q : Someone raided my base using cheats. What do I do?
A : Create a Player Report through Support Discord and provide as much evidence as possible.
Q : Can I get my items refunded if a cheater raided me?
A : You can receive a refund if staff confirms that cheating caused the loss.
Q : What evidence should I provide for an X-Ray/ESP report?
A : Provide any evidence you have. Screenshots or clips of your Spawners and their coords before they were discovered can be especially useful, aswell as providing coords to the base and region and players who had access to the base.
Bugs, Dupes & Exploits
Q : Is TNT duping allowed?
A : No. TNT duping is bannable.
Q : Is any type of duplication allowed?
A : No. Any type of duping is bannable.
Q : I found a duplication glitch. What should I do?
A : Do not abuse it. Report it in our support server here Support Discord using a Bug Report ticket.
Q : What happens if I report a dupe instead of abusing it?
A : Reporting an exploit puts you in a much better position than intentionally abusing it and you will be rewarded.
Q : Can I share an exploit with my friends?
A : No. Do not distribute exploits or encourage other players to abuse them.
Q : What if I accidentally discover a bug?
A : Stop using it and report it through Support Discord.
Reports
Q : I found a cheater. What do I do?
A : Create a Player Report through Support Discord and provide as much evidence as possible.
Q : I suspect someone is cheating but don't have proof. Can I report them?
A : Yes. Explain what you observed and provide whatever information you have. Staff will investigate.
Q : Someone is saying inappropriate things in chat. What do I do?
A : Create a Player Report through Support Discord and provide screenshots or clips if possible.
Q : Can I fake evidence?
A : No. Fabricating evidence or intentionally making false reports can result in punishment.
Q : Can I publicly accuse someone of cheating?
A : It is strongly recommended that you report suspicious players privately through Support Discord instead of starting public accusations.
Staff Applications
Q : When are staff applications open?
A : Staff applications will be open around two to four weeks after launch. An announcement will be made when applications officially open, so stay tuned.
Q : Can I ask staff when applications will open?
A : Please wait for the official announcement. The opening will be announced publicly.
Q : Can I DM staff asking to become staff?
A : No. Wait for applications to open and apply through the official application process.
Q : Am i able to ask a staff member weither am accepted or denied?
A : No asking about your Application Results will be instant denial
you will be dmed if your accepted
Media Applications
Q : How do I join the Media Server?
A : By joining here Media Discord
Q : How do i get the media rank ?
A : There are three media ranks : Media, Influencer, Partner that you can find in Media Info.
They all have different requirements, Media being the lowest and Partner being the highest.
A higher media rank means more perks.
If you fulfill at least two requirements of a media rank you can request it in a ticket in the media discord server.
For videos make sure the server IP is visible on the screen : play.smsmp.net
Q : How long does media rank last ?
A : Media rank is not permanent and will need to be renewed, each requirement you fullfill on top of the required two will add a week to your media time.
A media rank lasts a month (unless you fulfill more requirements as said above)
Q : How long will it take for my media application to be reviewed ?
A : You have to wait for a staff member to review it so it can vary.
Please remain patient and do not mass ping staff/repeatedly ping staff it depends on staff availability, we'll come to you as soon as we can !
Q : Am i above the rules if i am media ?
A : As we said, having a rank doesn't mean you are above the rules, nobody is.
Media rank won't save you from getting punished if you broke the rules.
Q : What perks do i get if i have a media rank ?
A : They are all listed in Media Info

Q : Where do I get support?
A : Visit Support Discord to access the available support options and create a ticket if necessary.
Q : Which ticket should I create?
A :
- Player Report → Cheaters, rule breakers, inappropriate behavior
- Bug Report → Bugs, glitches, exploits, duplication
- Support → General questions and problems
- Ban Appeal → Punishment appeals
- Purchase Support → Store and payment issues
- Staff Report → Report Staff Abuse
Q : How long will my ticket take?
A : Response times depend on staff availability and ticket volume. Please be patient and avoid spamming or repeatedly pinging staff.
Store & Purchases
Q : Where can I find the server store?
A : Visit Store to view all currently available purchases.
Q : Do I need to purchase anything to play?
A : No. SM SMP is designed around earning progression through gameplay. Purchases are optional.
Q : Can I earn ranks without purchasing them?
A : Yes. Ranks can be earned through the SM Streak system. Use /smstreak in-game to view your progression.
Q : I purchased something but didn't receive it. What do I do?
A : First, allow a few minutes for the purchase to process and try reconnecting. If you still haven't received your purchase, contact support through Support Discord with your transaction information.
Q : Can I get a refund?
A : Refund eligibility is determined by the policies outlined in Terms of Service and the applicable purchase terms, But WebStore refunds Are not allowed by all means.
Rules & Legal
Q : Where can I find the server rules?
A : Visit #rules to read the complete server rules.
Q : "This wasn't mentioned inside the rules."
A : The rules clearly state:
"Common Sense: If you need to pause and think before you do something, go the safe route and don't do it. Don't be the reason we need to expand this list."
Not every possible situation can be individually listed. Attempting to abuse loopholes, unintended mechanics, or gaps in the rules does not automatically make the behavior acceptable.
Q : I didn't know something was against the rules. Does that excuse me?
A : No. Ignorance of the rules does not exempt you from punishment. It is your responsibility to read and understand the rules before playing.
Q : What if I'm unsure whether something is allowed?
A : Ask staff before doing it. Getting clarification beforehand is always better than assuming something is allowed.
